I know when I see those first robins (Turdus turdus) scratching up the leaves that spring truly is here. There's nothing like the ramping up of bird song, and all kinds of racket from the crows.

Things are poking up through the top layer of debris on the garden, so I know that soon I'll be able to have chives with my egg sandwiches.

You may notice a change on the website. It too has been reborn, as Frill Free Horticulture, so instead of taking it way wider in topicm, I've narrowed it down and returned to my roots; horticulture. Especially propagation .

I remember fondly my days of doing thousands of cuttings, even though it was super hard work. I don't want to repeat it, but I do like growing bedding plants, and tropicals. Here's where I can educate, inform and entertain you with stories of growing interesting plants, from seeds and cuttings.
